Pet Cat is a virtual-pet game that runs inside Telegram as a Mini App. Players adopt a cat and keep it alive: hunger, happiness, energy and cleanliness decay in real time, even while the app is closed, and a neglected cat can die for good. Around this core loop the game grows into a small cat household — 9 collectible breeds with their own strengths and weaknesses, a cat cafe that earns idle income from cats on shift, timed expeditions with loot, 7 mini-games with weekly high-score boards, daily missions, friends, gifts and leaderboards, and a weekly event pass with collectibles and rotating prizes. In-game purchases use Telegram Stars. The backend is Node.js with Express, MongoDB and a Telegraf bot, with schedulers for stat decay, cafe earnings and events, and WebSocket pushes for live updates. The Angular frontend uses zoneless signals and adapts to the Telegram light and dark themes. A separate Angular admin app covers analytics, ad attribution and self-hosted error tracking. The game is available in English, Ukrainian and German.
